The Ohio State University’s Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme and Wexner Center for the Arts are pleased to announce a collaborative new book series, forthcoming from The Ohio State University Press.

Each volume in this cross-disciplinary series—On Possibility: Social Change and the Arts + Humanitieswill align with the annual theme of the Global Arts + Humanities Society of Fellows. The first volume will be Human Rights Pasts and Futures. Wex Chief Curator & Director of Exhibitions Kelly Kivland and Learning & Public Practice Director Dionne Custer Edwards will join Global Arts + Humanities Faculty Director Wendy S. Hesford and Program Manager Puja Batra-Wells as series editors.

On Possibility will broaden intellectual horizons, demonstrate new methods and orientations, and open up pathways for cultural and artistic innovation. In so doing, this series will amplify the vital role of arts and humanities modes of inquiry and discovery to cultivate understandings across differences and envision socially- just possibilities.
