Exploring the topsy-turvy relationship between the upper and lower classes, Mozart's hilarious comedy plumbs the complex depths of humanity with more searing perception than most tragedies ever could. The Marriage of Figaro illuminates the limitations of rank and privilege while showing that common sense can overcome wealth and power. Performed in Italian with English supertitles.
