Celebrate our vibrant culture of local and regional filmmaking at the Wexner Center’s 26th-annual Ohio Shorts festival.
Presented once again in person (and online through May 7), this event features an eclectic lineup from our rich community of moving-image makers. Showcasing Buckeye-made shorts spanning documentary, animation, dramatic narrative, and more, this year’s edition of Ohio Shorts is curated by local DJ, curator, and cofounder of Verge.fm Reg Zehner (they/them), the first recipient of the center’s Path Fellowship in the Department of Learning & Public Practice. (total run time: approx. 110 mins., DCP)
Join us after for a reception with the filmmakers in the center’s lower lobby. At the end of the screening, we’ll announce the $500 Jury Award winner, selected by Zehner. All filmmakers whose works were included in the program receive a $50 screening fee! And on May 7, we’ll announce the $300 Audience Choice Award winner—determined by online voting—on social media.
