Join Mary Jirmanus Saba in a conversation about her film A Feeling Greater Than Love, featured in the series Signs of Remembering: Women’s Resistance in Middle Eastern and North African Documentaries. 

Jirmanus Saba spoke with series curators Dareen Hussein and Layla Muchnik-Benali on questions of process, revolution, and the unanswered questions that emerge from her 2017 film, streaming on wexarts.org through March 26. Her debut feature, A Feeling Greater Than Love won the FIPRESCI International Film Critics Award at the 2017 Berlin International Film Festival Forum.

Mary Jirmanus Saba is a geographer who uses film and other media to explore histories of the labor movement in the Arab world and its connections to Latin America, feminist internationalism, and new possibilities for transformative social change.
