Animation Treasures from the UCLA Film & Television Archive

New Restoration

A group of animated cats fly in the air. The sun shines behind them.

A program of newly restored, rarely screened treasures from animation’s Golden Age.

This program of animated rarities features shorts produced by the Fleischer Studios (starring Betty Boop), Van Beuren Studios, Terrytoons, and a George Pal Puppetoon! You'll see short films restored by the UCLA Archive with the support from The Film Foundation and the Seth MacFarlane Foundation in addition to films funded by ASIFA-Hollywood (the Hollywood Chapter of the Association Internationale du Film d'Animation). (program approx. 65 mins., DCP and 35mm)
