This special Valentine’s Day double-bill features the tales of two men whose successes are driven by big holes in their respective hearts.

Two celebrated directors, Orson Welles and David Fincher, tell the stories of two media titans and the lost loves that drove them to the top. Some are motivated by money, some by fame, and some by the haunting memories of the one that got away. Considered by many to be one of the very greatest films ever made, Citizen Kane follows the rise of megalomaniacal newspaper tycoon Charles Foster Kane (Orson Welles). No matter how many treasures he accumulates, nothing can replace what is really missing in his life. Rosebud! (119 mins., DCP) The biopic The Social Network traces the early life of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) as he loses the girl and his best friend in becoming one of the world’s youngest billionaires. (120 mins., DCP)
