Community Reel

How do you feel about the world? What’s on your mind? What feels important to you right now? We want to see things from your perspective—and through your lens!

The Wexner Center invited youth and young adults (ages 25 and under) to submit short videos in response to current events with Community Reel, an expanding collection of works presented on this page and in our galleries as part of Free Space, a microcinema and community resource lounge located in our entry gallery. (This edition of Free Space closed November 20 due to COVID-19; watch for future iterations on wexarts.org.)

A collaboration between the Wex’s Learning and Public Practice and Film/Video program areas, and created in dialogue with local artists and educators, Free Space emerged out of a desire to reimagine the Wex by inviting active participation from the community.
