Made with a 1980s Commodore Amiga computer and shot on 16mm film, No No Nooky T.V. is a playfully subversive exploration of the social constructs that inform our views on women and sexuality. Combining early digital graphics and computer-generated narration with explicit language, Hammer forces the viewer to consider the differences between how the female body is represented and perceived. Even the monitor is eroticized in this whimsical and visually dazzling work that pokes fun at romance, lust, and love in the postindustrial age. (12 mins., 16mm film transferred to video)
