Mingle with local filmmakers and industry professionals at the 2019 Columbus Film Industry Summit, an annual event that offers the opportunity to learn more about and support Columbus’s growing film scene.

This year’s summit includes a keynote presentation by Michael Gottwald, producer of the Oscar-nominated film Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012), who’ll discuss the challenges and opportunities of making films in a smaller city.

After the summit, enjoy a reception with light snacks and cash bar (starting at 6 PM) and stay for the Midwest premiere of Columbus-born filmmaker Jennifer Reeder’s highly acclaimed new film Knives and Skin (at 7 PM, ticketed separately).

Cosponsored by The City of Columbus, Greater Columbus Film Commission, Greater Columbus Arts Council, Ohio State’s Film Studies Program, and the Wexner Center for the Arts.
