We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. If you have questions about accessibility or require an accommodation such as captioning or ASL interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Accessibility Manager Helyn Marshall at accessibility@wexarts.org or via telephone at (614) 688–3890. Requests made by two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the Wexner Center for the Arts will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
Students, staff, faculty, and their friends and family are invited to drop in for our free, informal welcome back to campus!
Everyone is welcome to come see what's happening at the Wex. Throughout the year, the center shares exhibitions, film screenings, performances, education programs, and artist residencies. The Wex is the place to encounter the art and issues of our time in a safe and inclusive environment.
This open house encourages all to stop by and check out our current exhibition, Jacqueline Humphries: jHΩ1:), watch some of the most buzzed about short films fresh from this year's Sundance Film Festival (free with ticket), browse our Wexner Center Store, and enjoy some snacks while you take it all in. You can also take a moment and relax on the Mershon Auditorium porch (weather permitting) or duck inside to experience demos, to-go art kits, and more. We'll also be joined by live pop-up student and faculty work from Ohio State's School of Music and Department of Dance inside and outside the Wex. See a full schedule below.
We're mindful of your health and safety and want to keep you posted as the public health issues are ever-changing. Keep up-to-date with our safety protocols.

Freedom Practice(s) is a compositional experiment for dance and music designed during this past spring semester. Through this gathering of artists we explored the process of creating collaboratively in unforeseen times of distance within the human condition. This work asks, how do we think about freedom when we are physically and metaphorically confined? In our roles as choreographers, composers, and performers we process the ongoing pandemics within global health and social justice. It is urgent work that asks How might our work together pave a road to freedom?
In partnership with Ohio State’s Department of Dance. Special thanks to Production Manager Jonathon Hunter.
