The galleries are back! Exhibitions are now on view through December 27. We're excited to share with audiences a mix of archived work and world premieres: Aggressive Witness—Active Participant by Gretchen Bender, one of the earliest works commissioned by the Wex; Tomashi Jackson's Love Rollercoaster, a collection of five brand new canvases inspired by voter suppression and disenfranchisement in Ohio; Steve McQueen's rarely seen neon installation Remember Me; and Taryn Simon's Assembled Audience, a sound installation making only its second institutional appearance and made entirely of audio captured at performance venues around Columbus.

We have a beautiful gallery guide on site and we'll be sharing writings about them over the fall (We also have one more show to debut in the lower lobby: Antoni Muntadas and Marshall Reese: Political Advertisement X 1952–2020, coming October 26). In the meantime, below you'll find links to recent interviews with Jackson, McQueen, and Simon; in the case of Bender, who passed away in 2004, there's a talk featuring a representative of her estate, writer and curator Cay Sophie Rabinowitz.
