Take a look: Alloy Orchestra

It almost feels like it wouldn't be fall here without a visit from Alloy Orchestra. We're looking forward to the return of the trio and their unique collection of instruments on Tuesday, October 16 at 7 PM for the live soundtrack accompaniment to Coeur fidèle (Faithful heart), Jean Epstein's impressionistic melodrama from 1923.

Combining the warmth of a concert with the spectacle of cinema, Alloy's a perennial crowd pleaser at the Wex. For those who've never experienced their shows, here's a small taste of what you're missing: a few minutes of their live soundtrack for Dziga Vertov's classic Man with a Movie Camera. The work was presented at the Wex in 2015.
