#TBT: Rob Frye's Evolutionary Sounds

Did you know that some of the Wex[EP] performances from the past year are still available to stream? For our latest #TBT, we're resharing Rob Frye's Evolutionary Sounds. 

A meditative exercise in deep listening, Evolutionary Sounds guides us through an experimental bird walk that incorporates bird songs, manipulated field recordings, and an interpretation of a Charlie Parker melody performed with guests Ben LaMar Gay and JayVe Montgomery. We hope you enjoy a chance to revisit or experience Frye's work for the first time. And there's more where that came from: Frye just released a critically acclaimed new disc, Exoplanet.
