• Features on Jennifer Reeder’s critically acclaimed Perpetrator have been dropping all over the film world this week in anticipation of its release on Shudder today, but we’re partial to this interview with Reeder by Columbus Underground’s Hope Madden.
• Local performance troupes are facing a potentially dire future according to the leaders of The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio (formerly CATCO).
• Ohio State’s Department of Dance has created space in its curriculum to teach dancers not just technique, but production and digital skills.

• Thursday, CCAD’s Beeler Gallery will open Wake…Sleep…Dream, a group exhibition with works by nine artists including Tracy Featherstone, Sheila Wilson Restack and Dani Leventhal Restack.
• Also Thursday, Capital University’s Schumacher Gallery opens the 2023 Ohio Art League Fall Juried Exhibition.
• And next weekend brings Franklinton Friday; new shows include Ron Arps at Project Unicorn and Heather Lynn Kyle at Secret Studio with a poetry reading by Karen Marie. (A rep from the Wex will also be at Secret Studio to give away tickets to an upcoming performing arts event.)
