We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. If you have questions about accessibility or require an accommodation to participate in this event, please contact Accessibility Manager Helyn Marshall at accessibility@wexarts.org or via telephone at (614) 688-3890. Requests made by two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the Wexner Center for the Arts will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
In this singular, live virtual reality experience, director Charlie Shackleton presents a unique documentary for an audience of one—you.
In this intimate performance where you’re invited to don a VR headset and sit across the table from the director, Shackleton constructs a documentary that revisits his mother’s devastating and life-changing medical emergency. The filmmaker orchestrates archival fragments from that period while narrating in real time, creating a personalized documentary experience that’s never exactly the same.
Shackleton charmed audiences last May when he screened his 35mm print of The Afterlight, so we’re thrilled to welcome him back for this remarkable work. As Mine Exactly is limited to 28 performances during Unorthodocs, so act fast to secure your tickets. (30 mins., VR headset and speaker)
Please arrive at the High Street entrance to Mershon Auditorium with your ticket 5–10 minutes before the start time of your performance. You’ll be greeted by Wex staff and escorted to the event. If you haven’t printed out your ticket at home, please pick it up the Visitor Experience Desk just inside the Wexner Center’s main entrance.
