(George Marshall, 1953)

Introduced by Robert Furmanek, 3-D Film Archive

3D | New Restoration | World Premiere

A white man wearing a suit, bowtie, and a fedora holds out his arms and sings. There is foliage behind him.

This 3D, Technicolor romp is one of the most anticipated restoration projects in years!

Comedy duo Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis star in their first film in color and only 3D feature film! Martin plays “Honey Talk” Nelson, a gambler in the 1920s who agrees to help fix a horse race to pay off his debts to the mob. His helper? Animal-loving cousin Virgil Yokum (Lewis) whose antics threaten the scheme from the start. Based on the novel by Damon Runyon, with healthy doses of Martin’s crooning and Lewis’s manic comedic flair. (99 mins., 3D DCP)
