We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. If you have questions about accessibility or require an accommodation such as CART captioning or ASL interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Accessibility Manager Helyn Marshall at accessibility@wexarts.org or via telephone at (614) 688–3890. Requests made by two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the Wexner Center for the Arts will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
This program celebrates the best Spanish-language animated and live-action shorts from the New York International Children’s Film Festival. These brilliant tales from around the globe showcase a range of kids’ perspectives, speaking volumes in any language.
Some of the highlights of this year’s program include the festival jury-award winner 3feet (3pies, 2018), a hilarious look at a boy trying his best to keep things clean so he can play soccer, and the beautifully filmed The Size of Things (El tamaño de las cosas, 2019), in which a magic chair reveals surprising and varied views of the world. (65 mins., digital video) In Spanish with English subtitles. Recommended ages 8 and up.
This free short film program in Mershon Auditorium is intended to allow for come-and-go viewing experiences that can be built around children’s attention spans and comfort levels.
Parents, if you have any questions about Zoom activities and films or their content, please contact Wexner Center Community, Youth, and Family Programs Manager Jean Pitman at jpitman@wexarts.org.
