Fall 2026 Exhibitions and Related Events

Collage image of artwork by Sammy Baloji, Temitayo Ogunbiyi, and sweat variant.
Explore layered histories, entangled legacies, and movement’s power through a wide range of media.

Explore presentations in the galleries by Sammy Baloji, Temitayo Ogunbiyi, and sweat variant, and in The Box by Léonard Pongo (September–October) and Frank Mukunday and Tétshim (November–December). Working across installation, sculpture, photography, painting, drawing, and performance, the artists investigate how colonial histories, migration, ecological change, and cultural memory continue to shape contemporary life. They also imagine possibilities for collective repair and transformation and invite viewers to do the same.

Return to the Wex throughout the fall to explore these themes in depth with talks, film screenings, and performances.
