International Horror

Graphic with a red background and text in a scary font that reads: International Horror.
A scream is the same in every language!

From the start, horror has been an international language—from the silent era’s Nosferatu (1922) and Vampyr (1932) to modern Japanese horror or French feminist body horror such as The Substance (2024) or Titane (2021). This summer we’re spotlighting an eclectic mix of horror from around the world with offerings for both scaredy-cats and gore hounds. Get ready for a journey across the globe full of shrieks and chills—no travel visa required!
