Musicals! Summer World Tour

It’s all (subtitled) singing and dancing at the Wex this summer!

Musicals have been hot tickets in the US for nearly as long as movies have had sound: from classics like Singin’ in the Rain and The Sound of Music to recent box office hits The Color Purple, Mean Girls, and Wonka (and honorary musical Barbie). But musicals are a truly global phenomenon and many of the most extraordinary and exuberant examples have been produced in languages other than English. This summer, we’re spotlighting an eclectic mix from around the world that explodes the parameters of what a musical can be.

Get your festival pass to receive a series-exclusive passport where you can track your musical adventure. If you travel to enough countries, you can earn Wexner Center and Getaway Brewing/Seventh Son prizes! Or buy tickets to individual films.
