This unlikely collaboration between Palestinian filmmakers and Israeli journalists is a powerful record of life in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

No Other Land is a powerful and vital film, directed by a Palestinian-Israeli film collective comprised of filmmaker Basel Adra, fellow Palestinian Hamdan Ballal, and Israeli journalists Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. Beginning in 2019, Adra documented the destruction of his community under Israeli occupation. With a blend of archival material from Adra’s childhood and recent footage of a devastated Palestine, this story is skillfully crafted, bold and—now more than ever—essential. Under immensely challenging production circumstances, the directors bear witness to the everyday horrors of life under occupation and the stark inequality it creates. In Arabic, Hebrew, and English with English subtitles. (96 mins., DCP)
