Cinema Revival: A Festival of Film Restoration

images from films featured in Cinema Revival

Our eighth-annual weekend celebrating the art and practice of film restoration is back! After last year’s virtual festival, we’re thrilled to return to our theater and to welcome back such experts as Lee Kline of the Criterion Collection and Tim Lanza of the Cohen Film Collection. In addition to that deep bench of restoration and film expertise, we’ll be screening films by Vittorio De Sica, Nina Menkes, Douglas Sirk, Oscar Micheaux, Mira Nair, Joan Micklin Silver, Sarah Maldoror, and more!

Purchase a festival pass to take in the full roster of films (at $30, that’s a little more than $3 a film, less if you are a Wex member)—and hear from the experts working to preserve our cinematic treasures—while enjoying access to an exclusive passholder lounge.

Get ready for Cinema Revival with Film, the Living Record of Our Memory, screening February 11–12. It's an essential primer on film preservation.
