Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (CXC) 2023

A collage of four animated stills from the DreamWorks films featured in our CXC series.
This year’s celebration of cartoon art features the Wexner Center’s spotlight on DreamWorks Animation.

The Wexner Center is proud to help kick off the ninth-annual edition of Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (CXC), a five-day festival celebrating the best of cartoon art and animation in all their forms.

This year’s edition features conversations with acclaimed cartoonists Daniel Clowes and Raina Telgemeier, as well as the Wex-organized spotlight on DreamWorks. Our tribute to the Academy Award–winning studio includes free screenings of such DreamWorks classics as Shrek and Kung-Fu Panda as well as a 25th anniversary presentation of The Prince of Egypt featuring codirector Brenda Chapman, who joins us for an in-person discussion and Q&A.

The five-day festival takes place at sites around the city including Ohio State’s Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, Columbus College of Art & Design, Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus Metropolitan Library, and the Gateway Film Center.

Visit the CXC website for the full festival schedule.
